There are also the " Kitsune no Ken GAIDEN Chronicles ," a number of chapters with additional material for the story that is not included in the main tale proper but is still canon to the story's plot and timeline.

The Gaiden chapters take place at various points in between the main story's chapters and arcs, and as such they do not appear in chronological order as they are currently presented. As of the start ofthe main story's chapters are undergoing an ongoing revamp, with additional expansion of details and slight retconning taking place.
